Elmo is the first dog we've trained for agility. Dan started training him and when other commitments kept him from being able to continue, John took over. Little did we know what a passion that would ignite! In their first year of competition, John and Elmo qualified for the Cynosport World Games and completed their AKC Novice, Open, And Excellent titles. For the period July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009 (his first year in Excellent), Elmo was the #20 ranked Cavalier in AKC agility and qualified for the AKC Nationals. In 2010 Elmo and John earned the Master Agility Champion title (AKC), the USDAA Accomplished Tournament Dog title, the USDAA Performance Agility Dog Champion, and again qualified for the Cynosport World Games in all three events (Grand Prix, Steeplechase, and Performance Versatility Pairs). In addition to his accomplishments as an agility dog he has sired some lovely pups, passing on his very "cavalier" temperament and love of life. |
